Pottery Studio Membership

The Bay School Community Arts Center has a dedicated ceramics studio with kilns along with a broad array of ceramics classes. We offer two levels of Pottery Studio Memberships, which may be purchased on a monthly, quarterly, semiannual, or annual basis. The Basic membership is for casual users who mostly work at home and wish to fire their work here. Full membership includes unlimited time in the studio and a space to store tools. Family membership has the same benefits as individual membership, with specific times set aside to work in the studio with your children. Enroll in the membership level of your choice below.

Studio members must have experience working in clay. No instruction is provided during open studio hours. Studio equipment includes Brent and Shimpo wheels, a slap roller, wall-mounted extruder, a variety of tools for throwing and hand building, and a selection of dipping and brushing glazes. We fire electric to cone 6.

Pottery studio members are eligible to show and sell their work in the Clay by the Bay Ceramics Guild display in the Art Speaks Gallery and at our Artisan Markets.

Studio members may purchase clay through The Bay School at a 10% discount from the list price.
